Is the X-66 a tonewheel model? I assume it's a solid state amplifier in 
any case, so is the value purely in the tone cabinets?

Seller's other items are all pianos, so this interests me greatly. I 
note that the start price on the auction seems to be the dealer's 
retail price, so I expect most people don't bother bidding, they just 
contact the dealer personally. It appeared at first  that prices for 
Steinways are very cheap in the US, but a closer inspection revealed 
all instruments to be in rather exotic cases. In the UK, these would be 
expensive at new RRP, but values plummet compared to plain old black 
owing to their dubious "Liberace Quotient".  I suspect the organ 
displays a similar "Curley Factor".

Anyone know if this is the same in the States?

Also in my experience,  N.Y. built Steinways are often iffy. If it's 
not from Hamburg I reckon you're better off with a Yamaha.

Isn't it the "Korla Pandit Dynamic" that we think of over here in the
US?
