Philadelphia "Breakfast with the Beatles" event

Philadelphia "Breakfast with the Beatles" event

2005-07-28 by bradschuman

Just an FYI for all you "troniacs"...
On Sunday, August 28th, local radio station WMGK will be doing
a "Breakfast with the Beatles" mini-cruise/live-broadcast from aboard
The Spirit of Philadelphia from 9am to 11am (edt). I was asked by the
host to bring along my mellotron, as well as sitar, for
some "samplings"...seeing how prominent they were in the group's
history.
The show will also feature some artwork by Ringo Starr on display, and
author/news reporter Larry Kane...author of the book "Ticket to Ride",
and also authoring a new book about John Lennon that's due out in
October.
The station hasn't made their official announcement yet, so I'm not
sure what the ticket price is yet...I will post it to the list as the
info becomes available.

Best to all,
Brad
