Silvan & Bonamici

Hi Guys
What's up? I can't play this, seems to be greyed (grayed to those on
the other side of the pond!) out!

I can play their other stuff, sounds quite interesting.

Steve.

Well recorded and craftily (?) put together, but no sense of discovery.
Too much overt borrowing for my taste, although I appreciate their
honesty for admitting as much.

that's my 2 cents and with the exchange rate that comes to about .015
Euro....

Pretty much my opinion. It's nice to have different stuff with that flavor,
sort of like discovering unheard material, but it just isn't the same. One
of the things that I looked forward to from early Yes, G(abriel)enesis, ELP,
and the like, was the wondrous surprises in each new album. Hearing
somebody play new stuff that really just pays tribute to a moment in time is
pleasant, but lacks any sense of exploration and adventure. New Yes is the
same way, they capture the sound, but it just doesn't blaze new trails and
excite me the way the early oeuvre did.
