It's an easy fix, but it's got to be done or you will have similar problems. Either the operator, or more logically -- the faceplate of the Model 15 MUST BE GROUNDED. If not you'll get a frequency shift when you touch the faceplate. I did not accommodate for this internally because Doepfer, Analogue Systems and Analogue Solutions rack rails are grounded, so the problem is taken care of by mounting the module to these rails and these are essentially the environments this instrument was designed for. So if you're using the M15 in another environment, make sure you ground the faceplate. Not earth, but system ground. There are a few of you who have asked for modules with Modcam and Frac faceplates - this is your official heads up to this potential problem! - P
