Nice vid, thanks Don.  Pity it sparked yet another M10 dig on Matrix. 

If you have an M14, you can actually induce this feature you're after. Take the output of the M10 into one channel on both sides of the M14.  On one side, turn the input channel processing pot all the way CW
(positive).  On the other side, turn the processing pot fully CCW
(negative)  Come out of the  Sum Xfade jack and route that signal into
the M10's VC input.  Use a secondary external control voltage to
crossfade the M14 xfader and you're dong exactly what you want to
here.  Just make sure the M10's Contour switch is set to linear.  It
won't break anything if it isn't, it'll just not make this as effective.
