Re: [PLAN_B_analog_blog] Re: Sky of Cloudless Sulfur Sound?

Another question; would the transient go to the FREQ VC jack or the FM IN jack? Technically what¹s the difference? Should the pots associated with the FREQ VC and FM be turned fully CW? On 10/11/06 12:47 PM, "(i think you can figure that out)" wrote: > Basically you need a Dual T

Good info Peter. I love the ³Mort Lore². When you mention the Blacet Miniwave do you mean using it as just another VCO in the mix? I thought two Model 15¹s would do the trick due to the tri-core. Could you elaborate on what the Wave Mult would do? I remember reading something whe

Regarding the PWM, this is the way it works. the dead spots come alive (are usable) under CV control, that's why the appearant manual range of the pot is as narrow as iit is. Insert a VC in the PSM, see how offsets into the otherwise dead zone cereate interesting PWN effects form

Re: Sky of Cloudless Sulfur Sound?

Basically you need a Dual Timbral Gate set to 'both' for the ringing. Or a Lowpass gate of course. Very short envelope (all settings to 0 - REALLY short) - output of EG opens Timbral Gate -and- puts a frequency transient on the VCOs you're gating This in tandem with the Timbral g

I received 2 Model 15 VCO's a few days ago and I'm completely blown away by them. Everytime I plug in I seem to get something new in terms of modulating them in various ways. I was just listening to the first part of "A Sky of Cloudless Sulfur" by Morton Sunotnick and I was wonde

ONLY the Model 15 and 12 are reversed from Dopefer. After that I go the clue. The Models 10, 13, 14, 17, 24 all connect with the red band down. 'Red Band Goes Here' means ...red band of the cable faces that direction (just like a Doepfer module) In that Doepfer always has his red

Model 10 question

Just received mine here at work, hope to play with it this evening. I normally look at the power cable assignments on the circuit board before I plug into the Doepfer rack.; I believe all of the Plan B stuff so far has been reversed from Doepfer on the "red band" orientation. Loo

Actually, this is what Min/Max ciruits were originally developed for - 'loudest voice gets the mic' applications. And that's exactly what a Max circuit does with audio. The loudest one doesn't cancel out the others completely, but it attenuated them at least 15 dB or therebouts.
