Module proposal: Minwave

Module proposal: Minwave

2004-10-04 by (i think you can figure that out)

I am creating another poll for a euro rack conversion of the
Blacet/Wiard Miniwave. I have successfully made this
conversion in my own system and have been contracted to do
another for one specific customer. Again, I run it up the Plan B
flagpole to see who salutes.

There could be two flavors available:

1) Std Miniwave (faceplate conversion only)

2) Wave/Bank pulse outputs (additional $60. By adding two
ACB boards (used on the Milton sequencer), a Miniwave can be
fitted with two extra outputs which will fire a 20ms pulse out
whenever a change or bank or wave is selected by either the
faceplate controls or voltage control.

Please note: in that this will utilize the Blacet PCBA - expect a
module depth of 5.25 inches (140 mm).

There is a picture in the PHOTOS section of the first conversion
(from my system) which in this picture does NOT have the ACB
option. They have been subsequently added.

hello peter,

another idea for a converted miniwave:
i've read about an expansion board for
the miniwave, capable of holding several
additional eproms. how about adding such
a board to your miniwave conversion? that
would be interesting especially for those
who can't do diy stuff on their own (like me).

best wishes

ingo
