question about M 29 dynamic mult

question about M 29 dynamic mult

2008-12-26 by murphybrandon87

Pardon my noobiness but I still haven't quite wrapped my head around mults yet.
I want to use the m 29 to divide out and attenuate the effect send from my dj mixer to 4 of
the effect modules I have in my eurorack then sum them back into the M9 mixer and back
out to the return of the dj mixer.

Does the m 9 divide audio? Mind you I'm not mixing with it, just splitting 1 audio signal 4
ways. If not, is there a dc coupling mod I could perform? All I'm trying to do is build a 4 bus
aux mixer within the eurorack format. Any other suggestions on how to accomplish that
would be more than welcome. This would be the ideal solution for me however if it will work.

Thanks,

-Brandon

Hey Brandon...

The M29 splits any type of signal It's completely passive, no active
components in it, it takes the ground need for attenuation from the
patch cord (shield) patched into it. Like all mults, it'll split
anything - AC OR DC.

Hope this helps,

- P
