I also faced this issue when printing with QTR using Epson R1800 on Epson Traditional Paper (Exhibion Paper in US). Did not manage to have a solution yet, but I would try to use a covering spray (Hahnemuehle is having one) for the most valuable prints. I ususal frame them 24-48 hours after print to avoid scratching. Kind regards Marc --- In QuadtoneRIP@yahoogroups.com, "CherylS" <cherylstephenson@...> wrote: > > Help! I have an Epson R1800 and am on a PC with XP Pro. I just purchased QuadtoneRIP so am new to this game. I print on Epson Premium glossy paper, and am very satisfied with the B&W photos coming out of QTR, but these photos never seem to dry. They are easily damaged, scratched or smeared. Is this normal? Should I be using different paper? I was estatic to get the color I want but the fragility of the prints is scary. Is anyone else having this issue? thanks! >
