Hi Marja, Are you using a Windows PC or Macintosh - it makes a big difference! (also which version of the operating system). Also are you using the usual Epson inks in the printer? having had a quick look at the QTR control file for the R1800, its really intended for matte papers - do you have any Epson Enhanced Matte (or similar) to test it on?
