Hi Mike, I replied to your message earlier today but I don´t see my answer appear. Guess I did something wrong :o) I´m using windows 7 64bit, and the default epsons inks. For my photography study I need to be able to print b&w on semigloss, gloss, and matte papers (not necessarily epson). The strange thing is that I have printed b&w on this printer before, but now I only seem to get all kinds of color casts. I´m hoping to use qtr to solve this problem at last. hope you can help! kind regards, Marja --- In QuadtoneRIP@yahoogroups.com, Mike Finley <mike@...> wrote: > > Hi Marja, > Are you using a Windows PC or Macintosh - it makes a big difference! > (also which version of the operating system). > Also are you using the usual Epson inks in the printer? > > having had a quick look at the QTR control file for the R1800, its > really intended for matte papers - do you have any Epson Enhanced Matte > (or similar) to test it on? > > On 27/02/2012 11:51, Marja Beckers wrote: > > Hi All, > > I´m a newbie when it come to qtr, but having color cast problems > > printing my b%w photos from photoshop cs5, it seems that this might > > solve my problems. > > > > I have spend the last few days trying to get my head around qtr, and I > > think I get the drift.
