There are some resources out there for persons just getting into the QTR-digigneg world. I highly recommend checking out Ron Reeder's site and purchasing his ebook on the subject. ( http://www.ronreeder.com ) . I also have a free and fairly detailed .pdf file on my site that you are more than welcome to download and peruse : ( http://www.clayharmon.com/download/downloads/QTR.pdf ).

I use a Mac, but run the QTRgui in a windows virtual machine (VMware Fusion) for designing my curves. 

Also check out http://www.dpug.org for many threads relating to digital negative creation.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
