Does anyone know if I can use some kind of ethernet to usb adapter/hub with QTR? I have a new Epson 9890 that I cannot place close enough to my workstation to use straight USB. I cannot get the print to connect via Bonjour (long story, basically Epson is telling me Bonjour does not work with this printer even though their documentation says it does - argh!). So I need some way to connect without direct usb or bonjour. I've heard that there are devices that you connect to the computer via ethernet and then from the device to the printer it is usb. The printer then looks like a usb device to the computer. But I don't understand enough about what networking layer(s) are at play between QTR and this kind of adapter to know if it would look to QTR like a usb connection. Does anyone have any experience with this? Or some other solution given the limitations stated above? Thanks!
