I would use the QIDF file right? What is the QUAD file used for? Sorry, I don't understand "compiled".

The QIDF file is the human readable version of the curve. You could actually
edit this in Notepad if you wanted. The QUAD file is the "compiled" version of
the curve.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
