Sylvain,

If you are trying to make K7 curves, I recommend that you first try the K7 curves I produced. There is some difficulty in trying to make your own curves with seven shades - not impossible of course, but more difficult than when working with just 3 or 4 shades. The K7 curves are produced by the Piezography profiler and include overlaps and ink trail off that are not possible when using the QTR Curve Tool. These are features that definitely take advantage of your printer model.

The beauty of Piezography is that it's turn-key, easy, and produces very high standard results without having to do anything other than install it and follow our instructions. You should be able to make the highest possible quality print right off. If you find we do not support your media choice with the built-in K7 curves - we do make customs and you need only print out a target of 256 gray values.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
