Re: [QuadtoneRIP] Tiff format not supported

2012-10-04 by Bernard Wolf

Well I just started using VueScan with my Epson V700... that might be the culprit. I will have to take a closer look at what is happening there even though I am saving my file as a Tiff file. I will have to try with the epson scan and see if the problemis the same.. thought I already didi that but things can get real confusing in a hurry (~; also was experimenting with Lightroon at the same time. Too many variables?

Will let you know.

Thanks

TIFF is really a family of file formats, rather than a single file
format, so its likely that your TIFFs contain something that QTR can't
handle. Firstly I think QTR needs RGB TIFFs (not CMY or CMYK), and
either 8 or 16 bits per channel. It may not like transparency or layers.
How are you creating your TIFFs, and with what options?
