Re: "print cancelled" when using Print Tool?

2012-11-21 by jespes2

Many thanks, here are some answers:

This is an iMac with 4gb; Activity Monitor shows plenty of memory available, as I'm running only QTR Print Tool.

Image is 85mb color tiff, printing to 8.5x11 paper (for testing purposes).

I also tried a 7.9mb jpeg of the same image. No dice.

Here's what Console says when the tiff goes to the Epson driver:

11/21/12 2:35:15.586 PM QTR-Print-Tool: Could not find image named 'LayoutDirection1.png'.
11/21/12 2:35:57.944 PM QTR-Print-Tool: source icc = (null)
11/21/12 2:35:57.945 PM QTR-Print-Tool: convert icc = (null)

Many thanks,
JP

If I print the same file thru Photoshop, it successfully reaches the printer, but it's very muddy as described earlier, which I assume is the double-color-managing problem.
