Hi again, looks like I found the solution and apologies for misunderstanding the previous instructions. 'Resetting the Print System' helped. I thought this just refers to deleting presets and to removing/adding printers. If anyone else wonders what this means and how it is done, you can find the details here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1341?viewlocale=en_US&locale=en_US As these instructions also talk about this process updating permissions, I repaired permissions on my machine as well using disk utility (No idea whether this helped). Re-installed the printer using the QTR script before any other printer and I am not getting the image size invalid error anymore. I have not tried printing using the Epson driver yet. Interestingly, when opening the QTR page in print settings, the last used adjustments (curves etc.) were still present. That did not seem to bring the problem back however. Now trying to work out how to print on small custom paper sizes off roll paper, but that is a different issue. How else would I access QTR? I don't understand how I would set up QTR through TExtedit or Preview? > > > > It feels like I'm missing something. I have always opened an image in PS, selected print, and selected QTR in the first dialog box, then print settings, then QuadtoneRIP in the next dialog box from the pull down menu, and then selected the curves, etc., that I wanted. > > > > Is there another workflow? > > > > thanks, > > G > > --- In QuadtoneRIP@yahoogroups.com, Roy Harrington wrote: > > > > > > On Sat, Nov 3, 2012 at 10:27 AM, glemasurier > > > wrote: > > > > After installing Mac 10.6.8 and the new version 2.72 of QTR, I continue to get a print error on 13 x 19 paper size, saying the "image size 964 x..." not valid. > > > > > > > > I deleted all the print drivers in my system, shut down the Mac for a day, restarted, and reinstalled both the Epson r2400 driver and the new version of QTR. > > > > > > Did you do the "Reset Printing System..." ??
