In case it helps anyone, I will describe this error and the cause/solution I found. I have just spent several hours attempting to isolate the problem of QTR printing nothing to the media even though everything apparently should have worked (print queue normal, drivers installed correctly etc.) My set up is OS X 10.6.8 Snow Leopard and Photoshop CS1 with an Epson R2400. I eventually tracked the error to the page set up. I was printing to a custom page size which showed no errors but just didn't print any ink to the media. The paper simply exited the printer complete blank. When eventually I tried printing to a standard paper size (A5, A4 etc) the printer worked perfectly and predictably. Voila!
