Thanks for clarifying. I didn't realize that you were doubling up on the densities and didn't figure it out from your notation. Clear enough now.

I spot checked your measurements, and they seem to be correct.

Your step wedge looks like the inks are out of order - which is of course strange because the densities seem to be in the expected order and you entered the values. So..

Have you checked that when you go to print the step wedge, that the correct qidf file is actually getting used? It looks like maybe you are using a different calibration for another printer. I am not familiar with how you choose the files on a PC (always do this from Macs),
but I would check that next.

Do you have a file for another paper that works? If do, I would open the qidf files (or perhaps you can see the curves in the calibration program) and compare the values with your Platine curve. The exact numbers will be different but the relative numbers across inks won't be all that different. What I mean is that for example, if in the curve that works K does not come in until say 240, you would not expect to see K come in at 120 on your curve.

If all seems correct in choosing the calibration in the print menus, I would next zero out a couple of the inks (say the black and cyan) and try again - you should be able to tell that you have loaded this now very lousy file. Just a sanity check that you are accessing what you believe you are accessing.

I would also be sure that you are not applying double linearizations. You want them to be off the first time, do the measurements, then add in the linearization. If you have some default set of values in the linearization odd things can happen - although I do not believe I have seen the big dip in the center that you see.

Good luck, I looked at your website and I think your images will be stunning with this ink set.
