Yes, QTR can work just fine -- ethernet or wireless. The issue though is to use Bonjour method rather than IP numbers. Look at Tutorial.pdf at the end. Set it up by select your 1430 as a bonjour printer, name it Quad1400 and Using QTR 1400 2.7 driver. Then you can use the Install1400 script to add curves. The other hassle is color management. OSX and Adobe has made it so there are several issues and problems -- you can't control it. Print-Tool solves these issues -- has No CM as well as App CM that works for grayscale. Take a trial run to see it.
