Although I've not tried them, I am quite certain that the profiles from Cathy relate a colour workflow and are not relevant to working with QuadToneRIP. If you wish to print a B&W image with QTR you need to determine the ink and paper you wish to use and use a set of QTR curves for these, similar in concept, but not the same as a profile from Cathy. It wouldn't hurt to do a lot of reading of the documentation with QTR and the previous postings to this list and the B&W printing list.
