You can setup a printer using Bonjour ( on the Mac at least). The process is quite well described in the QTR user manual. Look for Bonjour in the user manual, i5 is quite at the end iirc. For this, the network printer either has to speak bonjour (also called zeroconf) natively (most do), or you would have to hook up the printer to some device that can, e.g., an Apple Airport wifi router. If that is the case might not apples 29.00 USB / Ethernet adapter work? Lion has a driver built in for it.. Their are also 3rd party converters but then you'd have to install their driver. > > jimbo > ----- Original Message ----- > From: David Kachel > To: QuadtoneRIP@yahoogroups.com > Sent: Thursday, August 01, 2013 10:16 AM > Subject: Re: [QuadtoneRIP] Starting with a new iMac > > QTR will only work via USB, not ethernet. > > From: Tim <timr@...> > Reply-To: <QuadtoneRIP@yahoogroups.com> > Date: Thursday, August 1, 2013 11:05 AM > To: <QuadtoneRIP@yahoogroups.com> > Subject: [QuadtoneRIP] Starting with a new iMac > > When I did the workshop with Ron Reeder, QTR seemed so simple.
