My 1400 does the same thing. It stops before the border. It's a known problem and I put mine in a box and have not used it since. I got a 3880 which has no such problems. Why not ask the Piezography people ?

You might give the Yahoo group on Epson printers a try - but in the mean time;
Shut the printer off, disconnect the USB cable from the printer, disconnect the power cable, go to bed. Reconnect everything after a few hours (actually a few minutes but a good night sleep is always useful) and see if that solves the issue.
If not, I would recommend uninstalling & re-installing the printer from the OS (the printer & Quad1400 both) and/or resetting the print system.
Give the Epson Printers Yahoo group a try. There are some absolute wizards over there.

Hi,
I'm printing with QT Print Tool 2.7.2 from a Mac laptop running OS 10.6.8. I reinstalled QTPT from original download. Before I burn another $2-3sheet of Hahnemuhle rag paper, any ideas on making this not happen?
Thx
