QTR-Quadtone RIP

Thank you but would i be better off using the 3880 profiles as i think the only difference is in paper size? I guess in the end I will just have to do my own, but I am new to ink printing and trying a variety of papers untill i settle on a couple.

Patrick,I picked up the R3000 a few months ago and have since made a few "common" profiles.  Most of these are based on the generic profiles that are installed with QTR or using profiles others have created, such as those for the R1400.  

When using existing profiles, you may need to change the printer, if the profile is for a printer other than a R3000,  and remember to remove the LINEARIZATION= statement in the text file if there is one.  This should get you within a reasonable range.  For optimal performance you will need to create a specific profile for your printer.

I have just started playing around with QTR. I have a Epson R3000.I was wondering, I only see a limited amount of generic profiles. Is this sufficient? How do I get profiles for different papers like the other printers have?
