Baffled over inability to print using QTR with new computer

I had a cooperative and happy history with my old Windows XP computer, printing on an Epson 2880 with QTR. Because of Microsoft's decision to longer support XP, the computer was replaced with a Lenovo M93p (with intel quad-core i7-4770). I downloaded the latest version of QTR (version 2.7.2), and installed it. While it looks beautiful with a new skin, after either selecting a file or dragging a file into the print box and pressing the "print" tab, the latter becomes a "cancel" tab for about a minute, after which the image of the file disappears and the "print" tab returns. No printing is done (and nothing shows in the print queue).

I'm baffled. Anybody have similar experience or any ideas on how to get around this?

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
