Well, i made a few adjustments 1) converted the tiff file to grayscale (no improvement), was adobe 1998 2) printed with archival matte paper, with EEM profile (show banding again, but less than semigloss) 3) printed with matte paper and 2880dpi (banding disappeared) so i guess this was it!
