Well, after my 'duh' moment of finding the rather obvious 'search' box right after posting about how to access archives, I am ready to ask specifics that are hard to ask in one-word searches. Just installed the rip 2.3. Among the problems I am having, paper feed is one. Feeding 13x8 pieces of Epson wc white, specifying that on form, but printer keeps spitting paper through, then will line up a sheet properly if I push the lit paper button on the printer, but will only print one. The other immediate thing is,I can order 3 copies but only the one will be printed, after which the form drops the file. In other words, if I want 3 copies I have to order it 3 times. I am looking at running 40-60 prints in the next week, so this will not be efficient, to say the least. No problem with feed asking through PS. But I don't want green prints, which is why I downloaded the rip. I am using a P4 with 1gb ram, 3.2 mghz processer. PC, and an Epson 2200. Oh, I found I cannot work on other files on PS while the rip is open, everything slows to molasses. Another observation: In the lower left corner of the rip form it says something along the lines of 'driver not communicating' (sorry, I am not on the right computer to look specifically). Anyway, it hints at something not being in proper communication. I am just wondering if I failed to download something important or if a patch is missing. Or something. Thanks for any help you can provide. I am not terribly computer savvy and got a bit lost on the calibration mode, but got satisfactory results tweaking 2 curves provided in the software. Problem is with actually making the software and hardware communicate. Appreciate any uggestions!
