I have the same "spitting of paper" issue : one thing is for sure for me, if the file is somehow pointed out in PS (open or explorator highlighted) I can forget about a simple printing. It tends to better work if you simply close PS. I have never tried multiple copies, maybe others can comment. Both QTR and PS use tremendous amount of memory : I have created a specific swap-space on a second disk (5Go but that's a lot) for PS and scanner temporary filing. It improves the speed a bit. IMHO the best is to edit the files in PS, save and close PS. Then use QTR and the PC for printing only.
