Re: [QuadtoneRIP] Is Quadtone RIP on MAC platform alone and not work on Windows based systems?

QTR is a stand-alone printer utility that works very well on Windows. Apparently on Win8 a couple of graphing features that are supposed to show what the curves look like do not work. On Win7 they work very well.

In Windows you don't print via Photoshop. If, like me, you edit in a gamma 2.2 space (gray gamma 2.2 or Adobe RGB) you need to adjust the file for the literally linear space of QTR. There are supplied ICCs in the QTR package that can be used, or I have a Photoshop image adjustment curve that does about the same thing.

The availability of the Windows GUI for QTR makes, in my view, creating QTR profiles easier on Windows machines.

Is it true that QTR works ONLY on MAC systems and not on 'Windows' based systems?

Please clarify....
