I'm not sure what you are really after but --
A CMYK file in Photoshop is simply 4 channels containing each of the colors.
You can easily make 4 separate files containing one channel each. Then use
QTR driver to print each one separately -- each with whatever inks you want
given the right QTR curves.

Photoshop has limited infrastructure for RIPing, color-separating work. Hence ppl use specialised RIP software to RIP CMYK images.
But to color-sep the CMYK file in to 4 positives of C, M,Y and K, in deep black color tonal range, we need a SOftware.
I thought this Forum must have solutions and QTR an all black system, will have specific steps to color-sep a normal CYMK file to half tone positives.....
I request more insights in this field, how it can be done.
