By linearize I presume you mean use the Create Curve button. That just translates your curve specification (the .qidf file) into the form needed by QTR for printing an image (the .quad file). The specification (.qidf) is only changed by you, so there should be no changes in the Linearization tab. However, what will change are the values in the .quad file. The .qidf file is like the "source code" for your curve. The .quad file is the "executable" version of the curve. If you're not familiar with computer programming the analogy may be meaningless.
