I am using the 2400 with the ABW Epson driver and getting very good results from it. One part of the QTR that I would highly recommend is the QTR Create ICC Profile. Use of the ICC profiles this produces both essentially linearizes the printer and provides a softproof view in PS. You do need an Eye One Photo to use this however. There has been much discussion of this approach on the BW Digital Print forum. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint/ If you look in the QTR folder, you will find an Eye One folder. There is a file there explaining how this is all used. --- In QuadtoneRIP@yahoogroups.com, Godfrey DiGiorgi <ramarren@m...> wrote: > > I just purchased an Epson R2400 to replace the 1270, which has been > dedicated to B&W printing with MIS UT2 inks and QuadToneRIP for a > couple of years.
