Another week, another problem. With QTR?

I am using QTR to print the negatives using an Epson Stylus Photo R3000 on Pictorico Ultra Premium OHP Transparency Film.
The final remaining problem is any evenly toned area, like sky or smooth water has fine, but regular diagonal density variations in it.
Changing the QTR printing resolution and speed have no effect that I can see.
Can anyone point me in the direction of a solution?
