QTR-Quadtone RIP

Hmm - this is what I was struggling with before (see previous posts). Gray scale curves cannot be seen at all in PS 6. Roy has a good explanation in message 13274 “gray photo gray matte printer profiles”.

For RGB profiles, the only way I could get them to appear in PS CC was tweaking the write permissions (chmod a+w) using sudo on the command line. Unless you really know what you are doing, I wouldn’t recommend this as you can get yourself in a lot of trouble.

After a bunch of discussion with everybody, it looks like PrintTool is really the way to go for QTR printing…
