On Windows, yes, it's a snap. Just copy the -lin file into the applicable folder, although you'd probably need to do so as Administrator. Alternatively use the VirtualStore folders (search the forum for discussion of these).

A Mac user will have to advise about how to do this on a Mac, although I think it has something to do with reinstalling the QTR printer using the install script.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
