QTR Lineraize Quad on Mac

QTR Lineraize Quad on Mac

2016-01-08 by bruce_pickering@...

Last night I tried this new applet with my existing quad file and my new curve readings and it created a new quad file with the same name as the old with the addition of "Lin". Is there anywhy to install this new quad file as the only wayI found of testing it was to delete the original and rename the new one it to the old name.

I would ideally like to keep both quad files until I have fully tested.

Thanks

Bruce

On Windows, yes, it's a snap. Just copy the -lin file into the applicable folder, although you'd probably need to do so as Administrator. Alternatively use the VirtualStore folders (search the forum for discussion of these).

A Mac user will have to advise about how to do this on a Mac, although I think it has something to do with reinstalling the QTR printer using the install script.

Didn't really understand what you wanted to do at first.
But to install the new curve, either re-run the Install..printer.command script again
or run the ../CurveDesign/Run-Install-Curves.command script if the .quad is
already in the correct folder.
