P800/QRT issues??

Version for PC/QuadToPrinter file 2.7.6.0
(Long, meaningless intro) Just replaced my 3880 (which replaced a dead 4900) with the P800 the first of December. I got hooked on the "Purge-K" curve on the 4900. Per Roy's suggestion, I used the "Purge-K" file from the 4900 on the 3880, which worked well after I deleted all references to nonexistent orange and green inks. However, the black inks in the 3880 did not perform as well as the ink set in the 4900 and, after 18 months of some frustration, the intro of the P800, and large rebates, I bought the P800. I used the same modified "Purge-K" file on the P800 and got back the great results that I experienced on the 4900.
(Issue/problem/horrible user error) Until last night, all of my pictures printed via QTR were on 13x19 paper - they were great. Last night I printed a larger one on 17x22 paper. The image was 13.5x20 inches. The first time, the print came out 9 inches high. I went back and started checking every setting in QRT, the P800 "printing preferences" dialog, and the image dimensions in Photoshop. I even re-reviewed my modifications to the "Purge-K" file. I re-printed with "Purge-K" and, also, with a standard canned P800 curve that came with QTR. I got, randomly, one print at 10 inches and one at 11 inches, but never one close to the actual size of the image (the qtrgui showed everything to be correct). I went back to 13x19 paper, downsized the image to fit, and it printed perfectly. I also printed the full-sized image using both Photoshop and Qimage on 17x22 paper, and that worked perfectly. I also reloaded QTR. Does QRT/P800 selection not like 17 inch paper or am I really missing something? I searched the forum, but found nothing relevant to my problem.
Any help or ideas would be very much appreciated. Al Benas
