Richard, Thanks for the quick response. My quad7600-k7 folder is at the end of the string starting at library/printers/QTR etc on my boot drive. When I went to that location and right clicked for Get Info I was not allowed to change the permissions. That's why I assumed it was a SIP problem. I must be doing something wrong. Suggestions?
