Hi James, It sounds like you are printing a color image, or that your otherwise b&w image has a yellow fill layer. Are you using Print Tool? You can print color images with Print Tool, but not from PS using the QTR driver. What Ron is talking about, though, is something very different which is creating a QTR profile that uses a fair amount of yellow. You have to be careful not to use too much yellow or matte black. Actually, I think photo black is a better choice. It will give much smoother results than matte and is also easier to control. You are going about this in a way that is very different than what Ron or any of us who have been using and refining the use of QTR for digital negatives are doing. You may have reasons for doing it the way you are, but if not, I’ll be glad to help you get onto the right track. What printing process are you going to be using? When I choose the QuadR2400 printer in the printer selection box it will never print in color as I am adding a flattened yellow color layer to the back and white densities of the negative in photoshop as per Ron Reeder's suggesting that yellow is an excellent UV blocker along with matte black. I have tried various printer profiles including the standard Adobe RGB as well as the Quad RGB but none seem to allow the colorization of the negative to print.
