That's what I feared. Even at 2880 the banding is very strong on the calibration chart in most positions. I have a bad feeling that this printer is shot. It was used in an environment where people who didn't have much or any training used it. Thankfully it was free and I have a 3880. Thanks to everyone who replied with advice.
