E I assume by P4 you mean a Pentium 4 with windows. First, I would suggest you read the help files and User Guide (also accessible from the Help menu item). That might move you forward more quickly than waiting for responses from list members. Second, a basic feature (and requirement) of QTR is that one uses Curves to define how QTR applies ink to the paper for a given printer. You need to select a printer, the Printing Model and then use the dropdown boxes at the bottom of the QTRgui window to select a curve (or pair of curves) for the paper ink combination you are using. For the 2200 there are curves for a wide range of matte and glossy papers. For the 4800 there appear to be only curves for a selection of matte papers for the Epson inks. You don't have to be using a K7 ink set.
