OK, Richard. Thanks for that. I did what you suggested and I see that the .quad file is now in the Quad1400 folder.

The next step is a bit confusing, but I think I have it worked out. Having created the .quad, when you go to print you there is no field to select it. Assuming it was already selected, I went ahead and printed a test page, which came out terrible. I then closed QTR and reopened it. Upon reopening, the print page had the curve selection bar where you can select the .quad that was just created. Going ahead and printing, I did get a print that looks something close to what I am trying to get. Now I just need to adjust all the values in the curve creation page.

One more question. When you select an existing .quad and modify it in the curves creation tool, how can you give it a new name so that it does not overwrite the original .quad that you began with? There is no option for 'save as' when you select Show Curve and it does overwrite the old curve.

This is not a highly intuitive program!

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
