I have seen your related thread on Lula. My capacity to help is limited, as I use an i1 rather than a Munki. The main thing that comes to mind is that it's my understanding that the Munki uses much larger and differently-shaped patches to the i1. If you look at that Northern Light link that Jeff Grant posted on Lula, at the top there are some chevron shaped patches, and Keith Copper wrote "Note the chevron shaped patches along the bottom of the image - this is for the ColorMunki to measure." This is my understanding. As I read the Lula thread, you're using the Munki to read the charts with small patches intended for the i1. If my understanding is correct then I wonder whether some of your problem is measurement error caused this.

Other than that, I have found QTR curves can tend to over-ink some gloss & semi-gloss papers in the deep shadows, and as has been suggest here and on Lula, you may need to correct for that.
