I prefer to use numerical input and output vales in the graycurve rather than using an acv file. They are more precise than PS curves and cans be so easily changed accidentally. The other benefit of using the numeric curve settings rather than a photoshops .acv curve file is that the qidf file can be move from one computer to another without needing the .acv file or worrying about the path to the .acv file changing.
