CS2 is quite old so I'd guess that the issue is that it is a PowerPC program not Intel.
So its running with the PPC emulator. The current QTR driver is Intel chip only.
The easiest thing is to print with Print-Tool -- must be version 1.1.0 for OSX 10.6.8
But you could also try some older versions of QTR driver -- sorry but those are
pretty old so I not sure if 2.7.5 will work but probably 2.7.2 will. (hopefully there aren't
any incompatibilities that way)

Which is conveniently listed on the kind line in Preferences -- QuadToneRIP 2.7.6 Epson 1400. Making me think the install went well as I am using QTR 2.7.6.
Did a Goggle and QTR group search on the issue to no avail before bothering anyone on this annoyance, but the obvious steps to clear the error from the print dialog seem not so obvious to me at the moment.
But then again it's Christmas Eve and this can wait a bit
