Roy,
Sorry it took me a while to test this out. I don't (currently) use Curve Create in QTRGui since I am using QTR mainly with the Piezography inks and curves. However I went ahead and did a test with the updated version just to see how it works. I get some strange errors when I run Curve Create on my Windows 10 64-bit system (Version 1607). Here's the sequence:
1. Launch QTRGui
2. Click on Tools --> Curve Creation
3. I get an error popup window (see file "curvecreate_1.png" in the files section of this group)
3. I click on "OK" in the popup window.
4. Again I click on Tools --> Curve Creation
5. I get the same error popup window with different address (see file "curvecreate_2.png)
6. I click on "OK" in the popup window
7. Now the Curve Create window launches successfully.
In TaskManager, I do not observe quadprofile.exe being launched at any time during the above steps, so it appears these memory addressing errors occur before quadprofile is executed.
I played around a bit with Curve Create and found other errors (e.g. I/O error 123, etc.) but I think those may be the result of permissions problems or user error on my part. To be honest, I'm not sure these errors are what you were attempting to fix with the updated quadprofile.exe but I wanted you to be aware of what I see on my system in any case.

I'm looking for a few regular users of windows 10 whoare willing to beta test this. It's a simple replacement of the quadprofile.exe program in:C:\Program Files (x86)\QuadToneRIP\bin\(or wherever you've installed QTR driver)Here's a link to the new executable:You'll need admin access to do this. You may want to save the old oneby renaming to quadprofileOLD.exe for example.Let me know if you try this and any comments. The QTRgui Curve Create is still limited to 8-inks rather than 10-inks onsome new printers, but all other functions I believe will work. Thanks,Roy
