Re: Windows 10 and Curve Creation Users

Indeed, if on Windows 10 you try to launch the Curve Creation tool in QTRGui using a printer model for a 10 ink printer (e.g. Quad7900), you will get the memory addressing errors I outline above. But when I changed the printer model to Quad7890 (8-ink model), it works just fine with the 7900 (at least the tool launches cleanly with no errors).
So for anyone using Windows 10 and wanting to use Curve Creation in QTRQui on a x900 printer you can just select Quadx890 for the printer model and you should be able to proceed.. Of course you'll only be able to create a curve with up to 8 inks, but that is probably plenty sufficient for what most people want to do.
Maybe the above was obvious to everyone else. If so, sorry for wasting the bandwidth. In any case, it's one more reason we need a new QTR front-end app for Windows. Anyone up to speed on QT/C++, or maybe Java/JavaFX?
