I finally started using QTR with my 7600. My first attemp using Epson EM and Text FineArt with photo black was very acceptable. I know I need MK to really get nice blacks. I tried to print Epson Premium Luster paper but find no profile for it. I used EM and the results were nothing but horrible. Is it possible to profile for EPL paper with PK ink in QTR ? Can I get an add-on profile for this combo ? I learned that Epson 1800 printer can be used with QTr too. I am planning on buying this printer for smaller prints taking advantage of its PK / MK capability. If I use QTR with a Premium paper with PK ink, will the printer still spray the gloss optimizer ? Is it really possible to create a curve using a scanner intead of a densitometer? I own an Epson 4870 scanner. Thanks a lot in advance for your answers Best Ed
