Hi Richard
Thank
you very much for answering my question, I really do appreciate that. I
downloaded the Print-tool and things are starting to look a lot clearer
now, and all the right settings are there. I just need to read over all
the calibration text now for everything to sink in.
I'm
going to have a good read on your site, there looks like a lot of
really good information on there and I will look forward to any future
links you post including the book. I'll definitely look forward to the
youtube live screencast, how will I find or sign up for that ?
I
have a question that you might be able to answer - I did a print which I
added some grain to with Silver fx ( to try and match my film work )
before I bought the QTR it printed straight from photoshop to my epson
p600 and the grain looked great. when I print the same image from QTR
the grain has practicaly disapeared, any idea on why that might happen ?
the only thin I can think of is maybe some dot gain / ink spread. Other
than the lack grain the image looks fairly good.
many thanks again
Ian
P.S. I had a look at your main site, you have some great work on there :)
